Meatballs Three Ways: Mini Meatball Dumplings

Try these traditional meatballs with pasta and tomato sauce.

Bite-sized bliss in every bowl! Who says meatballs need to be big to be bold? These tender, bite-sized dumplings simmered to perfection in rich tomato sauce are the ultimate spaghetti companions. Tossed with perfectly al dente pasta and a generous sprinkle of Parmigiano Reggiano, this dish is pure comfort in every twirl. Warning: seconds (and thirds) are inevitable.

Ingredients

  • Meatball Base
  • Meatball Sauce
  • Spaghetti, cooked to al dente
  • Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, for topping

Directions

Form small, bite-size balls of the meatball mixture and add the sauce (which should be at a low bubbling boil). Simmer the meatballs in the sauce to cook through, 12-15 minutes. Remove the meatballs to a serving bowl. Toss spaghetti cooked to al dente with some sauce, then top with the meatball dumplings and cheese and serve.
